The goal of this class is to find the delight and playfulness of watercolor. We will cover the basics of watercolor from color charts, to painting a still life, and composing a landscape painting. Most of the class will be spent on practicing watercolor technique within the context of the elements of art. The intent is to inspire you to take your paints to the mountains or on your next trip and create a venue for you to be able to soak in the beauty of nature.

Please have these supplies at the beginning of class.

Watercolor Landscapes 2.0

Time 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.  (5 weeks)
Starting: Monday nights in January 13- Feb. 10
Location: Surface Gallery

Your palette and brushes from the 1.0 class work. Just make sure to have a stock of Arches watercolor paper. Each class we will do a watercolor landscape together. The last class you will pick your own landscape to work on and complete together.
